Usability

Only a few companies have the expertise in information architecture and usability as our design firm. We don’t have them for the web users but to give our clients the unique advantages they need.

There are many opinions about what usability really is. Testing usability on – for example – an online shop, is about observing what a user does in practice and in a lesser degree what a user feels, thinks and says he/she will do. In other words, it is the actual behavior that is measured. Can a user for example find a certain product, add it to the cart, and go through the payment flow with ease and without problems? In short, can the solution convert visitors to actual customers?

By usability testing, we confront the real users with your solution before, during and after the development process. We observe and analyze how it is received and put to use in practice.

Architecture

A robust information architecture constructed from a deep insight into the solution’s users is crucial to it being used optimally.

When creating a client’s web solution we have an Information Architect assigned to your project assuring that the main thread runs through everything. SorenGrau.com is especially good at creating the right graphical interface to capture the user’s attention and keep it intuitive and simple. Not too many bells and whistles, just robust functionality that works every time.
We design, re-design or develop prototypes in a very early stage of the project. That way, both we and our clients can get a visual of the project and determine if we are designing and if the whole experience is right for the client and has the right effects. This way, we can make corrections and adaptations at a very early stage as well.
